IBJ Clinical Pharmacology publica artículos originales, revisiones, casos clínicos, etc, en el área de la Farmacología Clínica, incluyendo farmacocinética, farmacodinamia, farmacometría, monitorización terapéutica de fármacos, toxicología, farmacogenética, farmacoterapia, terapia celular y génica, farmacoepidemiología, estudio de utilización de medicamentos, farmacoeconomía, regulación de medicamentos. Son de especial interés los ensayos clínicos, estudios traslacionales, estudios colaborativos nacionales e internacionales.
