Trained in the Infectious Diseases Service of the Clinic Hospital of Barcelona and in the Multi-Organ Transplant Program at the Toronto General Hospital. The beneficiary of a contract “Juan Rodés” of the Carlos III Health Institute. His main line of research focuses on infection in the solid organ transplant recipient, in the development and validation of immunological monitoring strategies in this population, and invasive fungal infection. He is the author or co-author of more than 130 publications in national and international journals and received, among others, the “Young Internist of the Year 2014” Award for his research activity.

NURIA RODRÍGUEZ SALAS

OLGA LAOSA

Specialist in Family and Community Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology. Currently, she works as Clinical Pharmacologist in the Foundation for Biomedical Research of the University Hospital of Getafe in Madrid, Spain. She has over 13 years of experience in clinical trials, 6 of which focused on the elderly population. She is now participating as a co-researcher on three international research projects funded by the European Commission: MID FRIL, SPRINTT and ACANTO. Two of these are clinical trials in elderly subjects in Europe. He is currently responsible for the Clinical Trials Unit in the elderly of the University Hospital of Getafe (CICA) and also works as a clinical pharmacologist on the Ethics Committee of the University Hospital of Getafe.
